I started a post yesterday to say thank you to God, but could not find the words, and started running out of time. So the post sat idle in my draft folder in the form of two words, which were completely incapable of expressing my gratitude. . . Thank you.

For the past week or so, I have been praying to God for guidance. I needed answers. I was completely confused.

Two days ago I got a number of reminders from God that when you think your back’s against the wall, it really isn’t. I learned that there were a lot of people in my past that care about me. Many of whom Took me by surprise. I received unexpected offers that re-energized my professional confidence, which has fallen far below anything productive. I got help and advice from family and friends willing to lend their time and their love. So overwhelmed, I literally spent a good portion of the day laughing out loud — at awe of how well the “ask and you shall receive” hotline works.

God is gooooooooooooooooooooood. Really, really, good.

And then yesterday, I got an different answer to the same prayer of guidance which showed me that God truly knows me better than I know myself. Granted it was a bit more on the negative side than the love-fest of the day before, but it was the answer I needed.

I’ll get into details later. But until then,

Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace to people of good will.

We praise you,

we bless you,

we adore you,

we glorify you,

we give you thanks for your great glory,

Lord God, heavenly King,

O God, almighty Father.

Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son,

Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father,

you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us;

you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer.

you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.

For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High,

Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.[9]
